On the occasion of the glorious Christmas holidays and the New Year, Masarat Foundation extends its warmest congratulations and sincerest wishes to all our people, and in particular to Christians in Iraq, recalling their deep-rooted presence in the land of beginnings and their profound role in shaping the modern Iraqi city and building the state.
Christians have been a living part of the urban fabric of Mosul, Baghdad, Kirkuk, and Basra—partners in shaping a national identity that transcends sectarianism. Their presence in politics, culture, and public life has been natural and influential, leaving a lasting imprint on pivotal moments in modern Iraqi history.
As we welcome a new year, we do not recall this history as mere nostalgia for the past, but as a horizon
