Results of Hate Speech and the Situation of Christian Communities in the Meeting of Cardinal Sako with Dr. Saad Salloum

On the morning of Wednesday, July 9, 2025, His Eminence Cardinal Patriarch Louis Raphael Sako, head of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and worldwide, received Dr. Saad Salloum, General Coordinator of Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development, to discuss the latest results of hate speech targeting religious minorities in Iraq and the situation of Christian communities abroad.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Bishop Basileus Yaldo, Patriarchal Assistant, and His Excellency Bishop Habib Al-Nofli, Archbishop of Basra and the South. The discussion emphasized the need to dedicate a special session for Iraqi and Christian communities abroad and explored the possibility of benefiting from new discussions and analyses to engage citizens residing outside Iraq.
