The evening before the launch of the Basra camp as part of the “With Dialogue We Remain and Rise” program.
The General Coordinator of Masarat Foundation, Dr. Saad Salloum, met with the camp management team to discuss the final preparations for the camp, which is being implemented by Masarat Foundation in partnership with the House of Coexistence and Kaiciid.
Saloum reviewed the planned work program to be held in Basra and Dhi Qar. He provided his observations regarding the camping areas and activities.
It is noteworthy that the program includes a visit for a group of youth from Sinjar to Baghdad, where the youth of Baghdad welcomed their peers in a dialogue journey to build peace and to learn about the diversity in the capital, Baghdad. They will then move to Basra to learn about its culture and components, and then to the city of Dhi Qar and other cities in Iraq in succession.
