A Meeting Between Baghdad and Sinjar

Baghdad hosts a delegation of young women and men from Sinjar who are active in dialogue, peacebuilding, and defending the Yazidi cause to participate in the program for education on dialogue and understanding the other. This program is implemented by Masarat in partnership with the House of Coexistence and Kaiciid. The youth of Baghdad welcomed their brothers from Sinjar in an event that will last for four days.

The program represents a starting point for a shared coexistence experience in which participants will engage in dialogues, receive training, visit religious, educational, and media institutions, and meet with decision-makers and public policy creators in an experience aimed at contributing to enhancing dialogue as a mechanism for building peace, rejecting hate speech, and understanding others.
