MCMD recently complements its training program for observing and analyzing hate speeches in Al-Najaf province.

Through the National Center for Combating Hate Speech, and in cooperation with “Think of Others” Group, MCMD launched a workshop in which 27 volunteers participated. Participants received intensive training courses on the mechanisms of monitoring, analyzing, recognizing and combating the hate speeches transmitted through the media and the social media, as well as the religious and political speeches.

It is worth stating that the first training course was in cooperation with the UNISCO Chair in Kufa University, and the second one comes in the context of the program of building the team of  observing and analyzing hate speeches in Al-Najaf province and southern parts of Iraq.

This program is implemented by the National Center for Combating Hate Speech in Iraq, supported by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung of Germany.
