It is announced in Amman lately that an Arab Experts Committee to observe the conditions of the Christian people in the Arab world is established. This came after a series of deliberations made by the Royal Institute for Religious Studies, under the title “Arabic and Eastern Christianity in the Region” with some prominent experts in the Eastern Christian Affairs, by an invitation from Prince Hassan bin Talal.
The Committee consisted of a number of Arab Experts, among whom is Mr. Saad Salloum, the General Coordinator of MASARAT Institution for Cultural and Media Development, member of the Iraqi Council for Religious Dialogue.
It is expected that the committee will convene its first consultancy meeting soon to determine the mechanisms and methods of work in order to protect the diversity of Arabic Region.
