A coordination meeting in order to protect the diversity of Iraq

Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development, the Iraqi Institute and the Iraqi Council for Interfaith Dialogue held an expanded meeting at the headquarters of the foundation in Baghdad,the meeting examined the situation of minorities in Iraq and the marginalization of the minorities and their security situation, and future of pluralism in Iraq.The meeting comes in the framework of the three institutions to promote pluralism and peace-building in the country. It also presented summary on the status of human rights in Iraq, and mechanisms of the fight against hate speech towards the other, the meeting concluded the need for further research and interviews to determine the possible means of action to achieve the common goal of the three Iraqi institutions, This meeting was attended by Dr. “Amina Al-Dahabi” for the Iraqi Council for Interfaith Dialogue and Mr. “SaadSalloum” of Masarat Foundation and Mrs. “Rend Rahim” of the Iraqi Institute.
