Masarat Hosts the Committee of women empowerment in the Iraqi Parliament

Masarat hosted in its location in Baghdad president of the committee of Women, Child, and Family, MP. Rihab Al-Abodah, along with MP Rizan Dlayer who is a member of the above mentioned committee. Amina Al-thahabi, from the department of Women of Minorities, presented the programs of Masarat which aim to reinforce and protect minorities in Iraq. The programs included strategies to protect women of minority groups. Amina also discussed with the guests a number of subjects such as the situation of displaced women and the challenges facing them. In the presence of the Parliament members, Masarat demonstrated the results and recommendations of its reports which monitor violations against minorities. Additionally, Masarat put forward for consideration its project that aims to place into effect a law that protects the displaced. For this to be achieved, Masarat must continue to work in collaboration with the specialized committees in the Parliament.
