Mandaen Awqaf Honours Masarat

Nadia Fadel Mgmas Alaidani, general director of mandaeans’ affairs, appreciated role of Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development in defending minority’s rights, and monitoring violations of Mandaean’s rights.

A honoring ceremony was held in Iraqi Mandaean’s Awqaf(A religious council)  for Masarat  efforts in defending minority’s rights. In response, Masarat put conclusions recommendations of its report forward in a bid to promote peaceful coexistence and minority’s rights.

Obviously, Masarat has issued a documentary film clarifying Mandaeans’ beliefs in 2013, a magazine on Mandaeans in 2008, a report in English and Arabic monitoring violations of minority’s rights including Mnadaeans in 2015, and contributed to Mandaeans joining the Iraqi Council for Interfaith Dialogue.
