Masarat Meets Metropolitan of Lebanese Mount Greek Orthodox

Along with their regional trip to Lebanon Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development and the Iraqi Council for Interfaith Dialogue ‘delegation met a number of clerics and civilian institutions to discuss regional disputes.
The delegation has met Bishop George Khodr, a Metropolitan of Lebanese mount Greek Orthodox and one of the famous specialists in Islamic Civilization, therefore he has been teaching his specialty in Lebanese University for years.
Khodr said it is clear that those who hate other religions know nothing on them, saying monotheists have a religious duty to respect others.
Mr. Saad Salloum, the general coordinator of masarat laid emphasis on Khdor knowledge role in Muslim- Christian’s dialogue and solving religious disputes in the Middle East countries.
Obviously, these meetings have good effects in terms of sharing views between Lebanese and Iraqi civil institutions.
