Detroit: Challenges face Eastern Church… Topic of Masarat meeting with bishop of the Chaldean Catholics

During Saad Salloum, the general coordinator of masarat foundation for cultural and media development visit to the U.S city of Detroit a number of meetings with Christians held there over the challenges that the church face.
Bishop Abirahim Abriham, a founding member of the Chaldean Diocese of Detroit a held meeting with Saad Salloum.
The Bishop talked on administrative reforms regarding Chaldeans, saying that the Iraqi Chaldeans were under patriarchate, but today they face many challenges as they live in many places in the world.
Patriarch Louis Sako laid emphasis on conforming reforms of rituals to the new cultures and facts, that is, the current rituals date back to seventieth century when agricultural societies were common.
Mr. Salloum said it is difficult to imagine the Middle East without Christians; it is also difficult to imagine Christianity with eastern churches.
