Culture and Publishing House holds a Symposium to Promote Pluralism

A symposium titled (pluralism in Iraq: current challenges and future scopes) held by Masarat foundation for cultural and media development at Kurdish home for culture and publishing in Baghdad in 2015.
Deputy minister of culture Mr. Fozi Al_Itroshi inaugurated the symposium with welcoming words in which he gave Masarat credit for its principal role in keeping pluralism and avoiding marginalization in Iraq, at the same time he appreciated the vital role of the general coordinator of Masarat Mr.Saad Salloum and Amina Al_Dahabi, the executive boss of Masarat   in countering extremism and discrimination.
Mr. Salloum clarified Masarat scheme for promoting pluralism, saying its essential to make serious cooperation between   religious institution, civil society organizations, and intellectuals to create new orders and laws in attempt to keep Iraqi pluralism.
Masarat presented the audience freely the recent publication of Masarat, namely books of (Christians of Iraq: A comprehensive history and current challenges, and policies and ethnicities in Iraq).The symposium ended with setting up a fair for Masarat publications, namely its books, magazines, and studies.
