The issuance of an academic reference on “policies and ethnic groups in Iraq

Masarat Foundation forCultural and media development MCMDreleased a new Referencebook in the framework of the project to promote pluralism in Iraq.

The book, titled “Policies and ethnic groups in Iraq since the Ottoman rule until the present time” included ten chapters of ten specialized researchers from inside Iraq, Ashraf by Iraqi academic and edited “Saad Salloum”.

The book is an academic reference on policies and ethnic groups in Iraq, dating to shift from a system Ahl AL-Thimma under Islamic Arab state to millet system in the Ottoman period and then map of religious pluralism and nationalism during the period of the national state and the establishment of a system of citizenship.
