Masarat Visit Virgin St. Joseph Church in maysan

Delegation from masarat for cultural and media development visit Virgin St. Joseph Church for Syriac  , Catholics and the mother of grief church for Christ Chaldeans in maysan, the delegation met responsible for the management and organization of Christian affairs in Maysan , briefed on the reality of the lives of Christians citizens and their suffering in the province, the responsible praised the support provided by the local government to preserve the Christian presence in Maysan.

Mr.saadsalloum the general coordinator of masarat for cultural and media development said that Virgin St. Joseph Church for Syriac  does not belong to Christians, not only an expression of their identity, It is part of the city’s memory and identity. Mr.saadsalloum called the Stakeholders in province the need to rebuilding this Civilized place to be a magnet for visitors to the Muslims and foreigners.

It is worth mentioning that this church was built in the forties of the last century By Hanna Sheikh famous family.
