Dr. Saad Salloum, General Coordinator of Masarat Foundation, presented statistics related to monitoring hate speech against women in Iraq during a special session titled “Iraqi Women Between the Culture of Exclusion and Hate Speech.”
Salloum also provided an analysis of the trend line of hate speech from 2017 to 2024, based on data compiled by the team of the Hate Speech Monitoring and Countering Center at Masarat Foundation.
This participation took place within the Forum on “Women’s Participation in Decision-Making Centers,” held in Sulaymaniyah on 27/9, with the participation of a number of women leaders, representatives of civil society organizations, and members of the “It’s Time for Iraqi Women” initiative.
