The monitoring and combating hate speech team from Masarat Foundation in Baghdad met with His Beatitude Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako. After the team extended their congratulations for the New Year, the Masarat delegation presented their intensive activities and the foundation’s program plans to monitor and combat hate speech against minorities.
The meeting, which was attended by Bishop Basilios Yeldo, the Patriarchal Assistant, discussed mechanisms to dismantle hate speech and promote coexistence. His Beatitude expressed his full support for the foundation’s work, emphasizing the importance of focusing on the role of youth in combating hate speech and calling for increased participation in upcoming programs that Masarat will implement in collaboration with the Patriarchate in the near future.
The foundation’s delegation also presented souvenirs made by participants in the citizenship education program.
