Masarat Launches a Report Detailing Situations of Iraqi Minority’s Women

B

Masarat has recently issued a report titled “forgotten voices” focusing on discrimination that minority woman face. It contains solid information that can help hold serious discussion in an effort to save minority’s woman from what they are facing. The report supports the argument that call for giving women their rights from religious perspectives. In other words, it does not urge to interfere in clerics business, but to paint a good image of woman away from extreme interpretation. On the other hand, it is fundamental to eliminate mistaken religious interpretations and traditions that encourage violence against women. To bring that goal into light, it is vital to make cooperation between governmental, religious and civil society institutions.
