In its headquarters in Baghdad Christian Awqaf honored Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development for its role in monitoring violations of Iraqi Christians’ rights.
Nabil Talat Khoury, general director of Christian affairs in Awqaf office, admired Masarat’s efforts in defending minorities’ rights for ten years, paying serious emphasis on its effective means to promote pluralism and citizenship.
Occasionally, Masarat devoted a large part of its efforts for Christians , such as a documentary film , titled ‘minority at risk’ in 2010, a magazine in 2009, a book consist of 900 pages, shed lighted Christians history, and a report in English and Arabic monitoring minority’s rights violation, including Yazidis in 2015.
