With the presence of five of the founders of the National Center for Combating Hate Speeches, about 20 youths of both sexes of Christian civil activists, received extensive training courses on monitoring and analyzing hate speeches, in the Anglican Baptist Church in Baghdad. The training which was facilitated by Saad Salloum, the general coordinator of MCMD, also included an intervention by Mr. Khalil Jundi, a researcher in the Yazidi issues, and Prof. Muhammed al-Turayhi, dean of Islamic Sciences College resented an intervention on the analysis of religious hate speeches. Then, Mr. Adulameer al-Asadi presented an analysis of political hate speeches. Among the participants, there was Mr. Ahmed Katao, representative of Iraqi Sharkas Community.
It is noteworthy to state that this workshop is part of a program of training that aims to train 800 volunteers nationwide, who represent the Monitoring and Analysis Team in the Iraqi National Center for Combating Hate Speeches in MCMD, in cooperation with Konrad Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung of Germany.
