Masarat Qualifies 560 of Minority Youths

Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development ended series of sub workshops to build the capabilities of Iraqi minorities in facing violence and resolving conflicts, the last workshop held by the Armenian trainer “Aram Raffi” in the hall of Christian, Ezidian&SabianMandaean Religions Endowments Divan in Baghdad, with the participation of 29 trainees.The workshop focused on building the capabilities of the trainees in the field of self-protection to reduce and stop violence against them, and the methods of resolving community conflicts and ways of dealing with unarmed government agencies, this workshop is part of an extensive project aimed to train about 560 trainees from Iraqiminorities in a two-month period only, it included 24 sub workshops.Preceded by a main workshop Participated by 14 civil activists from different Iraqi diversities for three days. To build and develop their capabilities of facing violence and resolving community conflicts, it is noted that Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development executed this project with the support of (Heartland Alliance)International Organization.
