Masaratdiscusses Maintaining pluralism in Iraq with The people of Nasiriyah

Masarat for cultural and media development held a work shop this week entitled (Promote the pluralism in Iraq) in the hall of the cultural center in Nasiriyah city, In the presence of an audience of intellectuals, researchers,civil activists, officials ,parliamentarians from the province including mr.ahmedtaha al SheikhMember of Parliament , mr.hasanalial.waily member of the Board of DhiQar province, the wprk shop included display documentary film (different and equal) producted by masarat which illustrates the diversity of the components of the Iraqi society and the prevailing stereotypes about each component , after that the attendees discussed two paper research about this subject presented from mr.saadsalloum the general Coordinator of the foundation based on a thorough study with statistics-and evidence about the migration of minorities and their rights are violated in Iraq stressing the need to work hard to protect cultural diversity in Iraq as soon as possible , then mr.alaahameed the head of Research in masarat presented his paper research entitled (Islamic perception of another), after that open discussion and interventions that influenced the meeting resulted in the exchange of ideas and research reimbursement trends Points ,And researchers and discussants came out a set of recommendations decides prepared a comprehensive report at the end of the project and presented to decision-makers

to take legislative measures producing and actors to curb practices that affect the diversity and pluralism in Iraq .
