Mr. Morteza Makki, a member of Masarat Foundation, presented an explanatory summary about the attention the foundation gives to women and children, showcasing examples of Masarat’s programs that contribute to their integration into annual activities held in several Iraqi provinces under the citizenship education program, such as camps, gatherings, and mutual visits among residents of cities from different ethnicities.
The conference also discussed ways to activate cooperation between civil society organizations and government entities to support this affected community segment from the events that followed years of war, conflict, and the terrorism that most Iraqi cities have experienced.
