A consultative meeting with the chargé d’ Armenian affairs in Baghdad.

A consultative meeting was held between Masarat Institution and the chargé d’ Armenian affairs in Baghdad Mr. Ilek Gharibian. The meeting addressed the cooperation of Masarat and other institutions of relevance. 
The general coordinator of Masarat shared the last updates regarding (The National Strategy for Prevention of Genocides) with Mr. Gharibian
to note that, this strategy was founded by Masarat, The Yazidis Foundation for prevention of genocides and UNESCO Chairs.
From his side, the chargé d’ Armenian affairs announced the access to use the Armenian experience in that regard, mainly after he participated in the 1st meeting of launching the strategy in Baghdad.
During the meeting, the attendees discussed the final preparations for launching the cultural cooperation platform of Iraq and Armenia in sectors of education, training, and development instructed by Masarat and other Armenian institutions of relevance. Moreover, Masarat worked on organizing programmed trips to and from Armenia to hold many diplomatic joint workshops and conferences to empower the relations between both countries. This event also was searching for the possibility of collaboration between Iraq and Armenia in the cultural and educational sectors, especially in the sector of genocides studies, collective memory، preserving oral traditions, and dealing with trauma after conflicts.
