Masarat Holds a Workshop on Unity in Diversity in Sulaymaniyah

In collaboration with Hivos Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development held a workshop in Sulaymaniyah ,Kurdistan.

The workshop experienced discussions on how to bring book and initiative of unity in diversity into force in an effort to meet Zoroastrians demands in terms of cancelling law no 105 in 1970 banning Zoroastrian’s’ activities, giving Zoroastrians official recognition as a religious minority, recognizing their worshipping sites. The workshop also insisted on recognizing Kaki’s officially and mentions them in the constitution.

The workshop was attended by Zoroastrians,Kaki’s, and Bahais from Kirkuk andSulaymaniyah. Copies of unity in diversity book were distributed among attendees.
