Workshop on Pluralism and Intercultural Citizenship

n collaboration with Hivos Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development held a wide workshop in Baghdad on promoting intercultural citizenship in Iraq. Saad Salloum gave explanations on diversity, intercultural citizenship and his newly issued book, titled ‘Unity in Diversity’. The workshop was attended by a number of press figures, postgraduate students, and civilian activists. On the other hand, Masarat has expressed its willingness to supply public and university libraries with its publications in an effort to develop these libraries and meet needs of researchers and students. In addition to a documentary film on diversity and citizenship shown on the workshop, explanations on Iraqi minorities and their roles in the Iraqi civilization were also shed lighted.
