Yazidids Appreciate Masarat Efforts

A honoring ceremony organized by Yazidi Awqaf in its headquarters in Baghdad   for role of Masarat Foundation  for Cultural and Media Development  in monitoring violations of yazidis’ rights.

Shirvan Ismail, general director of yazidis Awqaf, said that Masarat plays a fundamental role in defending minority’s rights, amid the worst tragedies that Yazidis face in their contemporary history. In return, Saad Salloum, general coordinator of Masarat, said that honoring represents an additional incentive for Msarat role to keep pluralism.

By the way, Masarat has issued a documentary film on Yazidids titled the last edict in 2014, a magazine on Yazidids in 2005 included translations of Yazidi holy books into Arabic, a study in Arabic and English defining Yazidis in 2015, and a report in English and Arabic monitoring violations of minority’s rights including Yazidis in 2015.
