Representatives of Assyrian Women Union Visit Masarat

The representatives were informed about Masatat’s latest activities regarding human rights and violations against minorities.
Masarat and representatives held a discussion on which they talked on Christian displaced situation in Baghdad in particular.
The Christians face difficult situation amid high temperature and deteriorating health conditions the representatives said.
Mr. Saad Salloum, the general coordinator of Masarat said it is significant to create good living standards for Christians , stressing that in collaboration with other organizations Masarat is doing its utmost to enact a law for protecting displaced.
The representatives were presented a number of Masarat publications regarding human rights.
Responding to that Ms. Janet expressed her satisfaction with Masarat concern about religious minorities and monitoring human rights violations.
Masarat reportedly hold activities and conferences regarding Iraqi society unity with many civilian organizations and unions.
