Masarat hold a national conference under the slogan “Different groups are equal as individuals …”

 

Masarat for cultural and media development held the partnership with the Canadian Embassy in Baghdad conference on the promotion of pluralism in Iraq Dealt with the situation of religious minorities in Iraq and  as christan, Almenddaúaan and Yazidis during the ten years of change in Iraq.

 

The conference included papers on the evaluation of research administration pluralism in Iraq after 2003 and a review of the situation of religious minorities bore titles.(Christians minority rights and the rights of citizenship) and (Mandaeans between citizenship and social exclusion), and (Yezidis between recognition and citizenship).

 

The conference witnessed the presence of religious leaders and representatives of Christian denominations in Iraq, and representatives of other religious components such as Yazidis and MandaeansThe conference opened with a speech by the patriarch of “Saint Louis Sako Raphael first” president of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the world, and the word for the presidency of the Presidency of the Mandaean community, while Mrs. “umyyaBayezid Ismail”Word Directorate of AwqafYazidis. Finally, the words of the spiritual leaders of the word father, Dr. “Amir Jaji Aldumenki” of the founders of the Iraqi Council of interfaith dialogue, and advisor to the Pontifical Council for Islamic-Christian dialogue in Iraq.

 

The conference included a documentary film Production by Masarat O.R.G titled “different and equal”Discussed stereotypes that people stay about religious minorities in Iraq and the importance of changing these images that might encourage violence against minorities in some cases justified and at other times,
