MASARAT for Cultural and Media Development launched its Summer Program for Combating Hate Speeches in Iraq through four simultaneous workshops in Baghdad, Babylon and Karbala.
The participants, who amounted to 80 activists, journalists and clerics, received some extensive training courses on observing, analyzing and confronting hate speeches in the media, or in the religious and political discourses, within the context of the National Center for Combating hate speeches which started its work mid-March 2018 aiming to train 800 volunteers who are qualified to monitor hate speeches in coordination with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung of Germ
